Results of the 2010 First Kentish Rifleman Autumn Produce Show

The Grand Marquee

The First Kentish Rifleman Autumn Produce Show was held on Saturday 11th September 2010.  The competition was fierce, with 20 entrants displaying 110 exhibits.

Many thanks to our judge, Anthony, for his diligent deliberations.  Thank you also to Jon at the Rilfeman for hosting the event and providing marquees, coffee and ongoing support and to Ian for manufacturing a replacement for a missing marquee leg in the nick of time !

The event rasied £90 for The Lions Club of Sevenoaks and will hopefully be the first of what will become an annual event.

2010 KRAPS Show Champions

The perpetual challenge trophy went to Sarah and Tom Isaacs.

Class Results

Please note that Class 3 - Three Parsnips, Class 8 - Heaviest Onion and Class 21 - Dahlia only had one entry in each ans so were not judged.  Next year we will probably drop the parsnips class as many people wanted to wait for frost before lifting.  But please let's see some more Onion entries ...... they don't have to be huge to win!

The 2 shallot classes were combined and judged as one class.
